CENTRE OF EXPERTISE

Specialised in
neurodiversity

"Neurodiversity is not a problem; it does not need to be feared. Instead, it should be viewed as a celebration of cognitive diversity and discovered using this very same belief system.”

We specialise in neurodiversity. This includes a variety and variation of the neurological and cognitive development of the brain. As a result, there are differences in terms of processing and using social, linguistic, and sensory information.

'Neurodiversity' usually designates autism, dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, giftedness, and high sensitivity.
We specialise in ADHD, ASD, high intellect, giftedness as well as high sensitivity. We do not focus on dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Feedback on our services
  • Philip

Jojanneke worked with me over a period of 4 months. In that time she coached me to better understand the world and how my past shapes who I am now.

With her expert guidance I was able to better grasp the subtleties of how I perceive instructions, expectations, and the world in general, versus those of my peers and subordinates.

Her insights were invaluable in helping me to transform my methods and effectiveness as a leader.
  • Marisa

I always feel free to say anything to Sabine. And I also have enough space to do so if I want to choose my words carefully. The conversations are often accompanied by a lot of lightness, which helps me enormously. Where being 'different' first gave rise to a negative thought, I can increasingly laugh at myself and move on. Our conversations have given me much more certainty.

I have been following supervision with Carolien for about a year and a half now and I can only be positive. I work as an art therapist and care coordinator with gifted young people who have dropped out of education, a complex target group that demands a lot from you. Carolien helps me investigate my own obstacles and strengths in working with this target group. She has an eye for sub-contexts and dynamics that exist in the institution. Her years of experience in (S)GGZ in combination with her experience with neurodivergent people is extremely helpful in the supervision process. She can think along at all levels (client, practitioner, team, directional, meso, macro) and challenges me to keep taking steps.
Without Carolien I would not be able to do this work.
  • Erwin

I am being treated by Jojanneke de Roever-Bull. Through her excellent expertise but also her wonderful personality, Jojanneke introduced me to my own brain and helped me on my way to understanding myself and my environment better and becoming a happier person. I am very grateful to her for that!
  • Pim

Carolien is an excellent psychologist who offers a safe environment, provides context regarding my situation and does not shy away from critical questions. Thanks to her insights, I understand the causes of my burnout and have learned how to deal with it. She also brought to light my giftedness, which has helped me enormously in my business and personal growth. Carolien is an invaluable guide on my journey to recovery and self-discovery!
  • Arnold

I feel safe with Sabine. I feel that I can open up completely and say everything in complete confidence. I learned a lot about how the brain actually works, and in doing so I learned a lot about myself. The way it is explained how it works in your head is explained in a very clear way according to the ACT method. It is nice to listen to that explanation, it really resonates with me because of the examples
    from practice.
